I’m Marcia—the heart, soul, and shutter-clicking wizard behind Ibay Photography. Around here, I’m known for capturing love stories that are as epic as a brass band parade in the French Quarter. (Translation: pretty dang epic)
Born and raised in the one-of-a-kind city of New Orleans, I’ve spent over a decade turning once-in-a-lifetime moments into heirlooms that’ll make your heart do a little happy dance every time you see them. Photography became my passion after Hurricane Katrina taught me how precious memories really are. Losing cherished family photos lit a fire in me to ensure no one else has to experience that heartbreak. Krislyn is basically a rockstar-in-the-making. As a Visual Arts student at NOCCA (aka Louisiana’s only super fancy arts conservatory), she’s already got the skills to bring creative magic to life behind the lens.
When she’s not busy acing her classes or turning her projects into mini-masterpieces, Krislyn joins our photography team as an assistant—and trust us, she’s got an eye for the unexpected. Working alongside our lead photographers, she captures those in-between moments and fresh angles that make your day feel even more special. Think of her as our secret weapon for adding that extra sprinkle of artistry to your photos.
But wait, there’s more! Krislyn isn’t just a photography whiz. She’s also available for hire as a live wedding sketch artist. While your guests are sipping champagne and mingling, she’ll be whipping up beautiful, interactive portraits right on the spot. It’s like having your own mini art gallery at your wedding, and your guests will love it!

I’m Marcia, a proud lifelong New Orleanian and a true lover of my city! You can often find me tailgating at Saints games or embracing my inner tourist as I immerse myself in our vibrant culture. I enjoy wandering through the French Market, sampling new beignet flavors paired with a hot café au lait from Café du Monde. As you probably know, NOLA boasts some of the most incredible, mouth-watering cuisine. Whether it’s a steaming bowl of gumbo or a heavenly plate of crawfish étouffée, I’m always on the hunt for my next foodie adventure—I simply have to try every flavor this city has to offer!
I value experiences—the experiences I find in quality relationships, meaningful conversations, quality education, and quality-driven collectibles. I also genuinely care for all my couples and often leave elopements feeling like I’ve made two new best friends; some have even welcomed me into their lives during my travels! It’s so cool to meet people from all walks of life.
