Best Places to Get Married in Louisiana
Louisiana is a beautiful state, which means there are so many stunning cities and venues to choose from- far too many for me to list here. So I’m just going to highlight a few of my favorite places:
Lafayette
If you want to elope somewhere that is brimming with culture, Lafayette is it. The Hub City is known for its Cajun and Creole influences. It is a dynamic city- a concrete jungle strewn with hidden oases. Some of the most scenic locations for elopements are:

Baton Rouge
Baton Rouge is undoubtedly one of the most iconic cities in Louisiana. The state’s capital is a picturesque city built along the Mississippi River. Some prime elopement locations in the city include:

- Baton Rouge Zoo
- Bluebonnet Swamp Nature Center
New Orleans
Of course I couldn’t leave out good old NOLA! I may be a bit biased, but I truly believe that New Orleans is the most beautiful city in the world- especially for photographing elopements! From the electric French Quarter to the enchanting Audubon Park, elopements in New Orleans are a sight to behold. Some of my favorite locations to photograph elopements in the city are:
