I’m Marcia – Your Elopement Photographer + Planning Consultant
I believe in a life filled with creativity and curiosity. My kids are also artists, and I make it my mission to support their ideas and encourage them to live outside the status quo. I’m a bit unconventional, yet I maintain a professional and courteous demeanor. Most days, I’d choose a sketchy street food spot or a hole-in-the-wall dive bar with great music over a five-star restaurant. However, I also appreciate getting dressed up every once in a while for high tea at the Ritz!!
In my spare time, I enjoy going on mini road trips to discover new experiences, delicious food, and unique art. I often reconnect with the couples I’ve photographed, whether they’re back in New Orleans or I’m visiting their hometowns. All of my couples have become like family to me. My daughter and I also make it a weekend tradition to explore estate sales (during gaps between elopements), where we can obsess over one-of-a-kind vintage pieces & fight over who gets to keep it 🙂
Living in the moment and appreciating each day I get to capture true love with new couples is a dream come true for me. There’s no request a couple can make that I won’t find a way to fulfill. I truly enjoy witnessing people at their happiest on the best days of their lives!
