Meet the Team Behind Your New Orleans Elopement Experience

Marcia Ibay

Founder | Lead Photographer | Elopement Planner

Hi, I’m Marcia. Born and raised in New Orleans, I know this city like the back of my hand. From hidden courtyards to the perfect time of year for an elopement, I’ve got the inside scoop on the spots that’ll make your photos unforgettable – and most importantly, free of chaos.

As a New Orleans elopement photographer, I’ve seen it all—impromptu second line parades with strangers dancing in the street, quiet “just us” vows under ancient oaks, and everything in between. I know what works, what flops, and how to make sure your day feels as effortless as it looks.

I’ve fixed timelines, pinned boutonnières, and even tracked down a last-minute parasol for a bride. But the truth is – the best days don’t need bells and whistles. They just need heart, clarity, and someone who knows what the heck they’re doing. Because let’s be real: simple is luxury.

I started this work after Hurricane Katrina destroyed our family’s photo albums. That loss taught me how powerful one image can be. So I document every elopement like it’s the most important story I’ll ever tell – because for you, it is.

I’m your guide, your logistics expert, and your hype woman – ready when you are. And yes, I’m a Scorpio – so I will have a backup plan for your backup plan. 😉

Bottom line? I want you to have the best damn day of your life. Period.

What You Can Expect?

I treat your elopement like it’s my own – organized, intentional, and built to actually flow. Dependable, transparent, and always ready with a backup plan.

Timeless, cinematic, and full of character – like New Orleans herself. I’ll guide you just enough so it still feels like you.

Making things easy, knowing every hidden gem in this city, and handling chaos like a boss – and making even the most camera-shy couples feel like naturals

Want a no-fluff day that’s actually FUN! The kind who ditch traditions and care more about the moment than the production.

Krislyn Fraser

Assistant Photographer | Creative Director in Training | Live Wedding Artist

Krislyn is our in-house creative — and my daughter. Some kids learn from their parents. Mine is out here teaching me how to level up daily. She’s currently studying Visual Arts at NOCCA, Louisiana’s top arts conservatory, and already bringing fresh energy to every shoot.

Whether she’s second-shooting elopements or sketching live wedding portraits while guests sip champagne, Krislyn brings an instinctive eye and natural talent to the team.

Her style blends soft, poetic detail with editorial polish. She’s drawn to artful couples who want something real, raw, and reflective of their story.

What Sets Her Apart

She captures in-between moments, the candid laugh, the quiet glance, the perfect angles.

Editorial meets ethereal, with a focus on emotion and authenticity. Insightful, grounded, and a born leader. We just call her magic.
Krislyn Fraser, an artist & photographer with Ibay Photography, carefully creates a curated drawing of a couple who eloped in New Orleans, capturing the unique magic and charm of their special day through her detailed artistry.

Authentic. Unscripted. Yours.

We’re not just here to snap pretty pictures – we’re here to tell your story, your way. Our job is to capture the energy, the style, and the emotions that make your day yours.

The couples we vibe with most? They’re kind, creative, and know that tradition is only worth keeping if it actually means something to them. They love great style, appreciate aesthetics, and draw inspiration from timeless fashion. Their elopement isn’t about putting on a show – it’s about creating an experience that reflects who they are: adventurous, stylish, and unapologetically unique.

They’re not stressing over champagne walls or seating charts – they’re too busy soaking in the moment, making memories, and actually enjoying the day they’ve been dreaming about. They treat people with love and respect, prioritize their families, and know that the real magic happens when you stop sweating the small stuff and focus on what matters most…each other.

If that sounds like you, then let’s connect. We can’t wait to hear your story.
