Elope to NOLA is a small-but-mighty team of real New Orleans locals, elopement planners and photographers led by founder Marcia Ibay.

Everything you read on this site — from our elopement packages to our planning guides — is created from our firsthand experience helping hundreds of couples plan unforgettable (and actually stress-free) weddings in New Orleans.

Original Content, Always

A quick note about how I (Marcia) create content: I tend to start with a big “word dump” — just getting everything out of my head onto the page. Then, I use AI tools like ChatGPT to help clean up and organize that raw info into something smooth and easy to read. But make no mistake — the ideas, stories and facts come from my real experience. The AI is just a helper, not the author. You’re always reading authentic, honest content from someone who’s lived and breathed New Orleans elopements.

All content is reviewed, edited and published by a human — with love, soul and an eye for detail. We don’t chase trends. We write what works because we’ve seen it work — in real ceremonies, real locations with real couples.
