I'm Marcia and for over 11 years, I’ve helped couples ditch the wedding industry noise for something better: a soulful, deeply personal and flawlessly executed New Orleans elopement.

I spent years shooting the big ballroom weddings - the kind with massive guest lists and very little soul. I was burnt out until a “panic call” changed my career. A couple canceled their 160-person hometown wedding to elope in New Orleans in just four days. No guests. No fluff. Just them under a stunning live oak.

The bride even sang her vows - with a little help from Tina Turner - and I had full-body chills. We ended that day at Café Du Monde for a surprise gender reveal involving blue sugar and beignets. Seeing that blue sugar fall on their beignets and the happy tears from the couple was the moment I realized: Intention matters more than production.

I know this city like my morning coffee: strong and non-negotiable. As an unapologetic Type A planner (full Scorpio alert!), I live for a backup plan. I will 100% build you a custom strategy and timeline that actually gives y’all space to breathe - handling the logistics so you can stay present in the moment.

Since that special elopement, I’ve focused exclusively on intimate weddings and vow renewals. As my business has grown, so has my vision. I’ve expanded Ibay Photography into a small collective of professionals who share my “Moments First” philosophy.

Whether I am personally with you on your day or you are working with one of my trusted associates, I remain your Creative Director. I personally hand-edit every image to ensure it meets my signature cinematic look. This allows us to say yes to more love stories without ever sacrificing the high-touch experience I’m known for.

Krislyn is our in-house creative… and yep, she’s also my daughter. Currently studying Visual Arts at NOCCA (the premier arts conservatory in Louisiana), she brings a fresh, editorial perspective to every shoot. Whether she’s second-shooting elopements or sketching live wedding portraits, Krislyn has an eye for the beauty, balance and little details most people miss.
